They are not as pitcher-dependent as strikeouts because RBIs require contact regardless of the pitcher’s swing-and-miss profile. The 1.5 line requires extra-base or multi-event production, which is a much steeper ask, and the price discount is rarely fat enough to compensate. Stick to 0.5 RBI props for the structural-edge bets and reserve 1.5 lines for marquee sluggers in genuinely premium matchups. Discipline on the line selection is what separates a profitable RBI ledger from a churning one.
